‘Vintage’ PINK FRIDAY! Pt 1…

Good evening All,

I am sitting here and I feel the need to go back to my vintage roots. It’s been too long.

It’s that time where you sit and wonder where on earth are you going to get inspiration from? So as you do, you look to the things going around you within your life no matter how big or small. Then I realised thither is a lot of PINK around. Of course, we are in the middle of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Bingo, lightbulb moment, there it is!

I am a great supporter of the Breast Cancer Awareness Charityhttp://www.breastcancercare.org. I have a scare of my own a couple of years ago and I will say, that was the most frightening period of my life. I am relatively young I might add. It just goes to show that CANCER, any cancer can affect any one, at any age, at any time. It does not discriminate. I know people who have gone thought the same thing, some who are suffering from some form of cancer and I have lost family to this terrible and terrifying disease. I write this and I dedicate these blog pieces to you all.

So for the next couple of Fridays in the month of October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I will dedicate my blog to all things PINK! And maybe I will have a VINTAGE PINK FRIDAY on the first Friday of every month!!! That should cater for the girly girl in me me thinks!

 PINK Vintage Dresses:

I am in awe of all those who have helped both men and woman with cancer, the doctors, nurses, carers, researchers, medical teams, campaigners, fundraisers who are fighting tooth and nail against cancer. This blog does no justice but no matter how small, raising awareness is always important. Thank goodness for all these selfless people and I look up  to the women (and men) who have survived this awful disease.

It’s funny what can inspire you, am I right?

Thank you ALL x
